The mission of Global Category Manager Warehousing is to develop and contribute to the category strategy definition and oversee implementation across the company.

Deploy standardized guidelines and health checks to support regions in logistics tender processes and contract lifetime management, ensuring the best contractual conditions globally and drive supplier innovation and supplier relationship management. Lead the ideation and execution of Global 'Big Bets' in coordination with the local, regional, and global C&P stakeholders and Operations Team.

Key responsibilities:

• Build the category strategy based on the D2D (Design to Deliver) strategy and in alignment with the C&P guidelines in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders and guide them to actively support and deploy the category strategies and projects.

• Support the regions to optimize their supplier portfolio according to the strategy.

• Advise regions in the tender strategy and processes

• Develop and animate the category network with regional and local buyers and relevant stakeholders, connect with external experts and cross-industry peers to drive continuous improvement. Represent Danone in cross-industry collaboration platforms.

• Develop best practice frame contracts and supply agreements and ensure implementation in all CBUs.

• Ensure utilization and compliance of tools and processes.

• Develop and lead an efficient SRM process with key Global and Regional suppliers of the category.

• Measure supplier performance and implement action plans to manage risks.

• Guarantee category performance: risk management, suppliers' capacity, quality, Total Cost, security of supply, sustainability program

• Lead the sustainability and compliance journey of the category aligned to the corporate sustainability and stewardship goals.

About you

We will welcome an open-minded, reliable, proactive, and team-oriented person. Strong communication and influencing skills are required to manage the complexity of our Procurement entity. Project management and Legal knowledge in contracting are a big plus.

• + 7 years of expertise in Warehouse Procurement, preferably in an FMCG environment or a Logistics company.
• Bachelor/Master degree in the field of Business, Procurement, Supply Chain.
• Solid Experience in leading warehousing category on global or EU level.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
